UKRAINETT NEWS
Dear UKRAINETT members, friends of UKRAINETT and all interested in Ukraine and research on Ukraine,
The UKRAINETT coordinating team is happy to launch the second edition of UKRAINETT News. In this newsletter you may read about the 2024 UKRAINETT+ conference that was successfully held at Nord University in Bodø from 16 - 17 September. The keynote speeches from the conference were recorded and are still available from the conference webpage. In Ukraine our partner institution in Kharkiv has launched the first UKRAINETT+ newsletter directed towards UKRAINETT+ partner institutions and other stakeholders in Ukraine. We encourage readers able to read Ukrainian to have a look!
This edition of UKRAINETT News also includes information about recent and forthcoming events in the network and events where network members/member institutions take part. Please save the date for the forthcoming UKRAINETT seminars: On 7 October (online) Ukrainian Member of Parliament, Oleksii Goncharenko will share his views of the system in Europe for protecting Ukrainian refugees and the situation for internally displaced persons in Ukraine. On 30 October at OsloMet and online, Ukrainian researcher, Andrii Biletskyi, and journalist, Alisa Yurchenko, will discuss myths and facts about corruption in Ukraine.
We are happy also to introduce our readers to our UKRAINETT+ partner Operativno Sotsiolohhia in Dnipro, Ukraine, and the Institute for Human Sciences (IWM) in Vienna and their Ukraine related projects, including the new initiative INDEX – Institute for Documentation and Exchange – that was recently launched in Lviv. Read more about everything mentioned and see recent publications from UKRAINETT members below.
